A Wild Moon Sets the Stage for 2026

Yes, 2026 starts with a Wild Moon.

A Wild Moon is an extremely rare phenomenon.

Over the past 20 years, while tracking the Moon daily in the traditional way for the Void of Course, I have come across a Wild Moon only once before.

It is also called a Feral Moon, meaning she is wild.

Focus on the World you want to see.

I think that the outcome is strongly determined by the intent set now.

As a collective humanity, we have the power to change.

What is a Wild Moon?

Let me first take a step back and explain some minor details.

The Moon travels (transits) through all 12 zodiac signs in about 28 days, spending roughly 2.5 days in each sign.

During each 28-day cycle, we experience the Moon phases we all know well, Full-Moon, New-Moon, and so on.

The Moon also touches each and every other planet during this 28 day, with aspects, which are contacts.                              

In my Void of Course Moon calendar, you can easily track the Moon’s last aspect before entering the next sign.

Wild Moon.

When the Moon makes a last aspect, is Void of Course, and then enters the next sign, during the transit in that next sign, the Moon does not make any other aspects or contacts with any of the planets and/or the Sun.

Therefore, she is Feral, meaning she is Wild.

Example of a Feral (Wild) Moon

Let me give you the example of the one other time I encountered a Feral (Wild) Moon.                     We’ll go to the beginning of that month to see what the impact of this Feral, Wild Moon might have caused.

This was the 7th day of that month.      

I provide a timestamp of the time and place:- The Rising is Libra, ruled by Venus.

One week later, on 14th October 2023, we had a Solar Eclipse, and Venus had entered Virgo,

where she is in Fall—not so happy.                                                                                                                                    So, we were in eclipse season.

On the 25th, 11 days later, the Wild Moon started with a last aspect, opposition to Venus, still in Fall.

This Feral, Wild Moon was transiting through Aries, ruled by Mars, the God of War.

On 28th October 2023, when the Moon entered Taurus, she immediately made, at 0 degrees, an aspect/contact to Saturn, which was 0 degree in Pisces, a strange place for the planet of restriction, more a kind of drift sand for Saturn.

If we lay the entrance point of the Moon into Taurus over the timestamp from the 7th, we see that Mars, the God of War, is contacting the Rising, which symbolizes the physical construction for that event. This is the only aspect at that moment to this place in time.

The same day, 28th October 2023, we had a Lunar Eclipse.  

When we lay the eclipse over the timestamp of the 7th of October,  

this is what we get: no aspect, nothing whatsoever, no connection.          

This was the follow-through of that Wild Moon, giving a double whammy of wildness.

Let this sink in for a moment.

I am not implying anything here—just observation.

Looking Ahead to January 2026

The Wild Moon in January starts 4th of January, with the Moon making a last aspect to Saturn, who is now at the end of Pisces.               

The Moon will transit wild through another fiery sign, but this time it is Leo, ruled by the Sun, who is then in Capricorn, which is ruled by Saturn.                                                                                        

It can feel all quite heavy.      

The Wild Moon ends 6th of January, entering Virgo, ruled by Mercury, which will be the first Planet as well that the Moon makes an aspect to.         

I'm convinced a lot is coming to the service that has been for far too long in the dark.

Knowing the effect of a Void Moon, it is wise to focus on positivity.

Do not start new projects, especially not during the Wild Moon, as this can have disastrous outcomes.

I see this as an opportunity to have clear intent for the new world we want to create and see happening.

Focus on the World you want to see.

I think that the outcome is strongly determined by the intent set now.

As a collective humanity we have the power to change.

No fear, only love.

2026 will have large periods of Void of Course Moon.
